I’m rewatching all the Buffy and Angel episodes. Just finished watching The Body.
I think I got more teary this time around than previously. It’s such a well-done episode.

Once anya starts ranting, for me, it’s all over.
That was good, but it’s all over for me at the very start of the episode. 🙂 SMG’s performance is brilliant.
everybody is just…perfect in that episode. they all knew exactly what they had to do and they did it.

Of all the episodes of buffy, only Hush and Once More with Feeling are better than the body, which is a FANTASTIC episode… so creepy with the lack of any music at all, and the long camera takes… SMG did a great job emotions-wise in it
I don’t know if I’d say “better”… they’re all just different. 🙂
The only time Whedon directs a good episode is when he does something drastic. Like kills off a main, or shuts up the whole town, or turns it into a musical etc etc.
you’ve clearly never seen the firefly episode “objects in space”…it’s visually stunning!
Firefly didn’t last a season.
that doesn’t mean it’s bad – how many bad shows just keep on going and going…
