We down to the Mall yesterday as Sammi wanted to buy Guitar Hero 3 for the PS2. I was going to get it for my 360, then thought, wait a sec…
So I ended up with this instead!
It’s a Fender starter kit thing. Comes with guitar, practice amp, cables, strap, electronic tuner, guitar stand and case, and a Getting Started DVD.
I figured instead of spending $140 on a video game of guitar playing, I’d spend a bit more and learn to play the real thing! This whole package was only $400. Although the DVD is actually excerpts from the full DVD, which I bought today.

So, I had a fun day today!
I forgot to post, we went to see Arch Enemy, Trivium, and Machine Head last week at Luna Park. We went to both the Thursday and Friday night gigs… fucking awesome. 😀 Trivium sucked, but we weren’t there for them anyway.
Lily’s doing well, she’s able to pull herself upright in her cot already!
We had a few people over on Saturday night for a quiet one, I got some good videos of Lily.

So, I’m mucking around with jailbreaking my iPod touch. I’ve installed SummerBoard and am currently fiddling with themes. The Dock.png file is 91px high for the pre-installed themes, but only the top of the file seemed to be showing. After a bunch of mucking around, it turns out the touch only displays the top 40px of Dock.png files.
Just FYI for anyone else who’s wondering what the hell was happening!

So many concerts coming up!
Next is both nights of the Black Crusade Tour (Arch Enemy, Machine Head, Shadows Fall, and Trivium) on the first and second of November at Luna Park. After that is Gigantour II (DevilDriver, Lacuna Coil, Static X, and Megadeth) on the sixteenth, also at Luna Park. Then is Behemoth in December, then Iron Maiden in February next year! \m/

I almost forgot, I had my end-of-year performance review today, and I’m getting an 8.7% pay increase! 😀
We went and saw Marilyn Manson last night. Fucking excellent. Mum and dad took care of Lily for the night, so I got a solid uninterrupted eight hours of sleep. It was fantastic! 😛 I don’t think I’m actually capable of sleeping in anymore though… I woke up at 8:30 this morning, even though Lily was still with mum and dad and I really didn’t need to do anything, heh.
I’m such a slut.
