This MacBook Air is one of the most impressive bits of technology I have ever used. Everything that I use my MacBook Pro for the MBA handles quite nicely. I bought the SuperDrive and Ethernet Adapter too, and installed Windows on it yesterday. Pretty much the only reason I even have Windows is for Dawn of War. It runs quite playably, admittedly at 1024×768 with all the graphics options down.
I pulled the MBP out last night to grab a couple of files off it, and good GOD it felt large and heavy! It’s crazy how my perceptions have changed already.
So I’m selling my MacBook Pro to my parents, since I have no need for it. That’ll give a very nice boost to my finances. And my sister will inherit the old 17″ PowerBook that my parents currently have, as she’s without a computer at all right now.
Woo!
Oh, god. Someone’s been hitting the Kool-Aid.
You’re just jealous!
Of less gigahertz? Unlikely!
LED backlight, aluminium casing, backlit keyboard, and 50 percent less weight!
Price!
Discount!
$2100 with the right contacts! Which you have! Same as the RRP of the high-end MacBook!
But I already have a MacBook!
eBay wants your MacBook!
eBay can pry it out of my cold, dead fingers.

Hmm where have I heard this argument before… but it’s much funnier this time, lol. Glad you’re liking it.
Zerotime only argues because he knows he’s wrong.
That’s either very deep, or I need more coffee. Or maybe both.
I vote “more coffee”.
Mind you, I always vote more coffee.
Oh I was going to err on the side of that anyway, don’t you worry. 🙂
Both.
Also, I agree — more coffee!
Done and done. My arm hath been twisted.
Someone has to do it, you ungrateful jerk.
