My bookcase and mattress arrived yesterday. 🙂
The bookcase is /huge/… 7ft tall. 😀 It’s not very wide though, since it has to fit into the gap between my door and cupboard. The mattress is awesome… so much more comfy than my previous one (which is probably about 18 years old by now. ;)).
I had the day off work today (I’m working tomorrow 🙁 ), so I went out and spent $399 on a new mattress, $579 on a new computer chair, and $354 on a new bookcase!
Mmmm, consumerism. It’s what’s for breakfast.
Hehe… my teamlead just came around and handed one of these out to everyone:
I got the second Goodies DVD, Red Dwarf VI, a pair of black pants, a nice black collared shirt, and a very nice almost-full-length wool coat (black, of course).

Re-arranged my room a bit. 🙂
It looks a lot bigger now! I need to get a new bookcase, though, as all my books and DVDs are currently stuffed into my cupboard. 😉

I’ve just finishing going completely insane and tidied up my entire room… drawers, cupboard, everything. 😀 And believe me, my cupboard was dreadful.
The amount of shit I threw out was astounding, heh.

I got offered a permanent job at Apple today… er… yesterday! 😀
The one single thing that’s going to suck is getting paid monthly. 😉 Both when I was at Maccas and with the employment agency for Apple, I was getting paid weekly. I think it’s going to take a little getting used to. 🙂

Nightwish. Fucking. Rocked.
That’s about all there is to say about it. 😀 Anyone who hasn’t heard them yet, get off your arses and check them out! 😛
Only downside of the show was that they didn’t have any tour shirts! >:( (Nor any shirts of any sort, for that matter). There were ones for Dungeon (the local supporting band), but meh.
I’m sitting here with velvetrhapsody and tunnelrats at the Nightwish concert, waiting for the supporting band to start. 😀
