WORD.

Metallica went fucking off. And of 18 songs, only 3 were from St Anger. 🙂 Although they actually sounded good live, it seems it was just the production on the album that they royally screwed up.

The set list was: Blackened, Fuel, Seek & Destroy, Sanitarium, The Thing That Should Not Be, Frantic, Creeping Death, Dirty Window, Sad But True, One, Whiplash, Harvester Of Sorrow, Nothing Else Matters, Master Of Puppets, St Anger, Enter Sandman, So What, and Hit The Lights.

I got a (horribly expensive) tour t-shirt, too. 🙂

Damn, these new albums are teh rox0r.

And we’re heading over to my friend’s house to drink (:P Zerotime) and I’m bringing over my PowerBook for an ample supply of music (:P Kafftan). 😉

Usenet++.

Just snagged the latest albums by Iced Earth, My Dying Bride, and Sirenia. 🙂 (The “Glorious Burden”, “Songs Of Darkness, Words Of Light”, and “An Elixir For Existence”, respectively).

[update]
Make that “Sleepy Buildings” by The Gathering as well. 🙂

I downloaded a DVD rip of Underworld a few nights ago, just got around to watching it now.

Kate Beckinsale in tight leather clothing is yummy. 😉 (Well…looks more like PVC, same as Trinity wears in the Matrix. But yummy none-the-less). I thought the movie was pretty cool too. Apparently they’re working on a sequel.

Ugh. BRING ON WINTER! Or even Autumn will do. Summer is the major suck.

In other news, my PB should come either tomorrow or Tuesday. 😀

WOO! I’ve transferred over the money for the PowerBook and Base Station, and apparently it’s meant to arrive next week! 😀 😀

::cracks knuckles::

I’m about to attempt to install NetBSD on my PowerMac 8600. Wish me luck. 😉

(I’ve already got Yellow Dog Linux installed on it, but I’m not familiar with Linux. I’ve got FreeBSD running on my PC, and I find it much more elegant than Linux).
