Hurrah for background music at work!
So, I’ve caved in and ordered a new laptop! I figure I should get all of my big purchases out of the way before I move out.
That’s my excuse, and I’m sticking to it. 😛

I’m looking at moving out some time in the next few months. I’m trying to work out all the financial stuff, to find out what sort of price I can afford for rent (I really want to live by myself).
This is where you lot come in! After paying all the fixed monthly bills (rent, transport, mobile phone, internet, etc), how much left-over do you think would be a decent amount to live on? It’d pretty much be food and random shit that’d need to be purchased from that left-over amount. And I’m working this out on a monthly basis as that’s how often I get paid.

Wow. I was looking through my iTunes library at the “Last Played” dates… there’s a few songs in there I haven’t listened to since the end of 2002! And a bunch more from 2003.
With ~7000 songs in my library I guess it’s hardly surprising that there’s songs I haven’t listened to for that long, but it still amazes me.
Well. I was going to go out tonight, but all of a sudden I’m tired and really don’t feel like it.
Bleh.
__stripped and I caught up on Saturday night. We started at Luna Park (and she wandered around comparing everything to Melbourne’s one ;)) and snapped a few pics. I’ve never actually been on a ferris wheel before, and jesus, the one at Luna Park is actually really high up at the top!
We ended up at Manly after that (Luna Park was closing early due to the weather), drinking coffee, talking, and looking out at the beach until __stripped‘s sister came to pick her up.
This is one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time.
After watching it, my stomach is hurting and I have tears rolling down my cheeks. 😀
