I put in the order for my PowerBook today!

It ought to arrive late this month or early next month.

Just got back from seeing Return of The King. I think “Holy shit” sums it up quite nicely.

Hurrah. Should be only a couple more weeks before I have enough money to order my PB. 🙂

Hee. We had a big throwing-out of all the old computers and crap that were just sitting in cupboards and things yesterday. I scored a PowerMac 8600/200. 🙂 It’s only got a 4GB HD, but it has 160MB RAM, and it’s got s-video in and out and RCA input and outputs on the back, as well as the normal plethora of ports. I’m going to install Yellow Dog Linux 3.0.1 on it. Probably going to get a KVM switch, so I only need the monitor that’s connected to my G4.

My iPod and iTrip have arrived! 😀

Awesome! I just got a call from the recruitment agency that is actually paying me…start of next week, my pay goes up from $18/hour to $19/hour! 🙂

Yay! I’ve paid off my credit card and my board for this month, so now I start saving up for my PB. 😀

Damn, that kicked ass! I just played a couple of hours of Project Gotham Racing 2 on Xbox Live. Anyone who has broadband and an Xbox needs to get it…it’s awesomely fun. 🙂

Apparently they’re waiting for the 40GB iPods to come in. So no iPod for me any time especially soon. 🙁

I have a new desktop pic now. It’s so peaceful. 🙂

We’re going over to my friend’s house tonight for some quiet drinks, and then we’re geeking out tomorrow and playing some Warhammer 40,000. 😉
