Awesome! I just got a call from the recruitment agency that is actually paying me…start of next week, my pay goes up from $18/hour to $19/hour! 🙂
Yay! I’ve paid off my credit card and my board for this month, so now I start saving up for my PB. 😀
Damn, that kicked ass! I just played a couple of hours of Project Gotham Racing 2 on Xbox Live. Anyone who has broadband and an Xbox needs to get it…it’s awesomely fun. 🙂

Apparently they’re waiting for the 40GB iPods to come in. So no iPod for me any time especially soon. 🙁

Well, my fancy new phone was delivered yesterday (Nokia 6100), but my iPod still hasn’t arrived. 🙁
On the bright side, I’ve got everything planned out for getting my 17″ PowerBook. 🙂 (Saving up, how long, etc). I can’t wait! 😀
Excellent…we’re having an Xbox plus drinks night tonight at my friend’s place. 😀 We’ve got 3 Xboxen, all with Halo, and two of us have PGR2 as well. w00tage!

I’m reconsidering my plans for my G5…
Instead, I’m thinking of getting a 17″ PowerBook! I realised that I wasn’t even doing anything on my current computer that urgently required an upgrade…I don’t find it slow. The G5 + 23″ display would have been about $6500 (this is with Apple’s staff discount). A 17″ PB+AirPort Extreme Base Station is just over $4500. And I’ll be able to take all my shiznit in to work with me, and I won’t need to screw about with lugging everything over to LAN parties. And I can lie in bed and surf the web at stuff. I’ll get a KVM switch, so I can use my current CRT as a second monitor if I want to. 🙂
Not to mention that I’ll be able to get the PB late this year or early next year, as against half-way through next year at the absolute earliest.
