I now have Xbox Live! Although no Project Gotham Racing 2…apparently the PAL version comes out on the 28th of this month. I wish EB had mentioned something about that, rather than getting my hopes up for getting it on the 18th, which is when the NTSC-using people got it. 😛

I’m geeking out, and messing around with my FreeBSD server…I’ve set up a DHCP server for our LAN, and it all works wonderfully. 🙂 Although for some reason the IP addresses are being given out in decending order, instead of ascending… (The range I’ve designated is 10.0.0.3-10.0.0.127. Instead of giving 10.0.0.3 first and working up, it gives the .127 and goes down.) Any thoughts on why or as how to change it? Next up for it is getting the NTP server running correctly, and working out how to set up the firewall properly without blocking myself off from the internet. 😉

As of yesterday, I have $3000 in my savings account, and just over $600 in my normal one. 😀

These dickheads want to ban Project Gotham Racing 2 because, and I quote, “”This game sends the wrong message to young people. It is actually glorifying speed and power,” Mr Gibson said. “It is clearly an inappropriate depiction of speed behaviour. If I had my way I would ban it.””

Give me a fucking break. The only reason they’re talking about this is because one of the cities is Sydney. As it says in the article, there was not a single complaint about the original game, and it sold over fifty thousand copies here alone.

Har. We went to Pittwater RSL tonight. I had 7 Bundy and cokes in just over 2 hours, and my reading on their breathalizer was 0.043. ::strikes a manly pose:: One of my friends had 4 beers, and his was 0.042.

Oh, and I have the Red Dwarf Series III DVD. 😀 Apparently their November 12 date wasn’t exactly accurate. 😉

Yay. Going to see Matrix Revolutions tonight, there’s only 5 days until the Red Dwarf series III DVD comes out, and 11 until Project Gotham Racing 2. 😀
