My mags have FINALLY arrived. 😀 I’ll be getting them either tomorrow or Saturday. And I got a letter from the RTA saying that my WTF420 numberplates are ready to be picked up too. 😀

I’m considering building myself a PC. (!)

I figure it’ll be good for experience, because really, I don’t have much of a clue of the hardware side of things. 🙂 I then had the further thought that I could turn it into a gaming machine. And have some distro of Linux to mess around with on another partition.

I don’t want to spend too much on it, mind you…it’s hardly going to be my primary computer. Just enough to run most current games adequately would be a good start. So with that in mind, could any of you recommend anything to start off with? 🙂 Brands to avoid, what sort of mobo/processor/etc, that sort of thing. I still have yet to figure out even where I’m going to put this, but hey.

I know you can get switches so you can use one monitor with two computers, but is there a similar thing for USB?

We just saw 2 Fast 2 Furious. As lame as the title is, the movie itself is actually quite good. I don’t entirely recall the first one, but this definitely had a better plot.

It was quite amusing after the movie, in the carpark, with all the cars with big exhausts and whatnot. Some dickhead had green neons on, despite the fact that they’re entirely illegal here. But still. The movie was good. 🙂

I just ordered the numberplates “WTF 420”. 🙂 (It’s actually my birthday – 20th of April – but I’ll leave people to think it’s a drug reference. ;))

And my fuckin’ mags still haven’t come in yet. The guy at Jax said he’s going to call whoever it is that imports them tomorrow and give dad a call here with what’s doing on. Grr. I ought to just go with 16″ ones. 😛

Still nothing from Jax about my mags…still, it’s only been two weeks so far.

And in other news, I’m utterly exhausted. I keep saying to myself “I’m going to go to bed early tonight”, and then end up going to sleep at 10:30. I blame the book I’m reading at the moment: “The Mad Ship” by Robin Hobb. It’s awesome. 🙂

I was going through my drawers earlier today, and realised I still had a credit slip from Century Media, for US$35. So I’ve ordered Trail of Tears’ ‘Profoundamonium’ and ‘A New Dimension of Might’ CDs. Going to post the order tomorrow.
