I bought Metroid Prime on Thursday. 😀 It’s damn cool. Kinda struggling with the controls, though…it’s not set up like your standard first-person shooter.
On Friday night we went to the pub…they had a foam party in the beer garden. I wasn’t planning on going in, but I got dragged in. Drenched + 12-degree weather = recipe for a nasty cold. 🙁 Last night we went to the pub again, but were only there a couple of hours…everyone was really tired.
Daaamn, system-linked Halo and MechAssault is awesome. 😀 We definitely need to get some more friends to get Xboxes, so we can have more controllers and more players. 😀
I went on one of my mad complete-room-cleaning sprees this evening, and thus I’ve taken some pics and added the Room page to my site. 🙂
Heh, we’ve got a repeat of last week now…movies last night, video games and drinking tonight. 😉 We saw Cradle 2 The Grave. The plot isn’t especially deep, but it’s just a bit of mindless action. (Oh, and I think I’m going to scream if I see another movie with SMS-isms in the title. Take the Fast And The Furious sequel, for example: “2 Fast 2 Furious”. AAAARRGHHHH! *stab stab die hate kill*).
Going to try hooking our two Xboxen up tonight…and the friend who’s house I’m going to has two widescreen TVs for us to use. :)~
Woo! I ventured out onto the main road today. 😀 It’s quite easy, heh. Now I’ll be able to drive myself to and from work, and rack up the hours really fast.
I also gave my car a wash and polish. It looks /so/ much better now. The tyres are a bit crummy looking (they’re re-treads), and the hubcaps and rims are generally atrocious, although I cleaned them up as best I could. I’m going to put mags on it eventually, though, so I don’t need to worry too much about it. I’ll take some pics tomorrow.
Going over to a friend’s place tonight, for a night of drinking and video games. 🙂

w00t. The integration of my LiveJournal with my website is complete. I can now be updating my LJ and website at the same time, rather than leaving my website languishing. 🙂 Oh, and naturally I’ve redesigned my site. 😉
My driving’s going quite well. 🙂 Had to fill up for the first time last Thursday…at 105.7 cents/litre, ouch. D: I think I need to time it so my refueling is done on Mondays (Monday seems to be cheapest).
