Dammit. I woke up a bit earlier than normal today, so I could go down to Dymocks at the Mall to see if I could get that missing book (and the rest of them besides), but they didn’t have any. They’re going to get the books in for me, but said it’ll be 7-10 days. 🙁 Oh well, back to the Liveship Traders series for the time being. 🙂
And my stomach is feeling better. Still tender, but not horribly sore like it was yesterday.
Argh! I got a bunch of the New Jedi Order books for my birthday (which have to be read in order to them to make sense), but mum missed out on one in the middle (Rebel Stand, by Aaron Allston, who wrote the Wraith Squadron series and who is an excellent writer), and I’ve just finished the one before it and now can’t continue! Annoyance++!
Also, I had to go home early today, due to severe stomach pain. 🙁
Hurrah for clean rooms! And I’m watching the thermometer (we’ve got one of those ones that measures the inside and outside temp), and the temperature outside is dropping like a stone. It was 17° outside about half an hour ago, it’s heading below 16 already. Cold nights are plus fucking plus!

Woo! Just got back from the sydneysiders meet! It was very good. Met several new people (tannymonster, darkjudicator, dr_nic, alice_pinafore, minga, and a handful of others whose names I didn’t get a chance to get), and a couple I’ve met previously (__stripped and maryann_)! So hurrah for random internet people! 😀 And now, bedtime!
