WTF! It’s the middle of April, and it’s 32 degrees outside! Stupid fucking weather. BRING ON THE COLD WEATHER!
Nice…I’m up to a bit over $2500 in my savings account now. I’m saving up for a new car for when I get my green P’s. At the moment the most likely candidate is an RX Impreza (which amusingly enough was the car I was originally wanting to get before I got my license). I’m going to have to pay off my current car loan first, though…there’s a bit over $2600 left on it. And I’ll have to get /another/ loan for when I get the Impreza. Dad reckons I ought to see if I can find a good deal at a dealer, and trade the Corolla in on it. I certainly won’t get the full price back, but it’ll be more convenient, and I’ll be able to spend a bit more on the new car than I would otherwise. 🙂
Cold is steadily getting better. And the amount of tissues left in the house is rapidly decreasing. 😉
I’ve hit the 30GB mark for my MP3 collection! 4245 songs, 15:09:10:57 total time. (Yes, Cath, I’m a geek. STFU. ;)). Oh yes, and you should all have a listen to Otep (::points at the current music that’s playing::)…they fucking rock.
Well, I seem to be getting a bit better… my nose seems to be slowly drying up, although my head still feels all blocked up. 🙁
Bleh. Got a cold. 🙁 Damn weather getting colder than I expect at night, and not having nice warm clothing for it.
On the bright side, I’ve got a new LJ icon, and am working on a redesign of my website.
WORD. Opeth fucking ruled. 😀 And the support band this year was a local one called “Dungeon”, who were actually quite good, unlike last year’s local support band (Flesh Mechanic). 😉
They played, uh…3 or 4 songs from Damnation, which was a nice change of pace. “Deliverance” is such a rockingly good song for banging your head to. 😉 And they finished with Demon Of The Fall (which they finished with last year too, as I recall.)

We just went to the pub last night (yes, Cath, it was Mona! Deal with it! ;)), and tonight we’re heading over to a friend’s place for some general drinking and drunken video games.
Bah. My Firewire case won’t arrive until Monday.
On the way home yesterday, I pulled up at the traffic lights beside a Mercedes 4WD with the number plates “LINUX”, heh.
Awesome. My external Firewire case and two 100Mbps hubs should arrive tomorrow, hopefully.
