Woo, we’re having a mini-LAN at my friend’s place tomorrow. 🙂 Lots of Warcraft III to be played! And no need to lug lots of shit over, now that I’ve got my PowerBook. 😀

Heh…I look that test that katez linked to in her journal.

Your subconscious mind is driven most by Curiosity

This means you are full of questions about life, people, and the potential of your future. You spend more time than others envisioning the possibilities of your life — things that others are too afraid to consider.

Your curiosity burns with an almost physical need to know and do more. It’s only through new experiences that you feel a greater understanding of yourself or the world — which ultimately is the greatest way for you to feel satisfied.

It is possible that the underlying reason for your drive towards curiosity is a deeply rooted fear of boredom. That means that you are probably more susceptible than others to feel like you’re falling into a rut when life slows down into a comfortable routine.

You need to make sure you have stimulation in your life — that makes you feel like you’re innovating or being exposed to the ideas and experiences that truly inspire you.

With such a strong orientation towards curiosity, you’re also prone to a rebellious quality that shows up when you feel you are just going through the motions, and are unable to really influence the world around you. But interestingly enough, your drive towards novel experiences also indicates an openness others don’t have, but wish they did.

Unconsciously, your curiosity presses you to learn more, experience more, and get the most out of life.

Though your unconscious mind is driven most strongly by Curiosity, there is much more to who you are at your core.

Yes, well…heh.

And woo, it’s meant to get mad coldx0rz tonight. 😀

In the process of going through all the pages on my site and updating them, I just realised how old the pics of my room were. 🙂 I had the OS that was running on my computer at Mac OS X 10.2.6! (For reference, that was released on the 18th of April last year!). So, I went on one of my mad cleaning sprees and took some updated pics!

Well, so much for that. The friend whose house we were going to go to has piked. Couldn’t be bothered doing much else. I think I’ll just have a few drinks here.

I’ve decided I won’t actually get a new car.

Mostly due to the large amount of money that would be required, and the fact that I don’t actually need a new car. Although I am going to do a few things to my current one…definitely remote central locking, new stereo, etc, but I’m also thinking of things like a new (read: better) air filter, and a better carburettor too, to see if I can get a few more kilowatts out of it. Although there’s nothing wrong with it, it definitely is lacking in the power department. 😉

And Dad’s booked the car in for a service tomorrow! So no having to go for several weeks needing to remember to unplug the battery when I get out. 😉

Well, that sucked. I jumped into my car this morning, turned the key… and nothing happened. The battery was dead.

We got the NRMA dude out here, he measured the battery with his voltmeter, and the charge was going down even as we watched. We jump-started my car to get it going, then the guy got me to press and release the brake a few times. As it turns out, my brake light switch is faulty… apparently it keeps turning itself on, which is how the battery was draining. And come to think of it, which is probably why occasionally when I get out of the car, the brake lights are still on. I thought it was just a sticky brake pedal or something. Oh well, looks like I’ll need to book it into a mechanics soon.

Heh, and after we’d got the car going, the NRMA guy said to leave it going for about ten minutes, and that when I got to work, to disconnect the negative lead from the battery. Hopefully when I go home this afternoon my car will start… 😉

Oh, and I ought to be getting those New Jedi Order series books today. I /was/ going to go down to the Mall to get them myself after work, but I don’t think I’ll bother, with the battery as it is. My mum and dad are probably going down there today, so I’ll them to get the books. 🙂

As it turns out, I didn’t play /any/ KoTOR until this afternoon. Friday night I went over to a friend’s place for a few hours and just chilled there.

Midday Saturday we headed down to the Mall to pick up various things. I received a $50 gift voucher for Mall Music from my aunt and uncle, so I picked up Meshuggah’s Destroy Erase Improve and Ulver’s Nattens Madrigal. Also got a Mother’s Day card (my parents don’t believe in giving gifts for mother’s and father’s day, which is fine by me. :D) and a felt/rubber full-head/face mask of Satan (my friend’s 21st said to wear your most outrageous hat/wig). It quite rocked, but I couldn’t drink my alcohol with it on, so I only wore it for like the first five minutes. 😉

The party itself was quite good, although I didn’t drink that much. I had extremely little to eat that day, so I wasn’t especially feeling like drinking lots. It was in Castle Hill, so we crashed there the night and got the requisite not-enough-sleep that you get when you’r’e sleeping at someone else’s house. 😉 Had deliciously greasy bacon and eggs for breakfast, which was good. I ended up having a nice two hour nap this afternoon (which I had while Meshuggah was playing nice and loudly on my stereo.) So yeah! Quite a good weekend.
