I’m trying to teach sapia how to fling rubber bands at things. I think it’s a lost cause!
(How the hell can you not know how to shoot rubber bands?!)

We were all just given this from the head of AppleCare Australia:
🙂
I snapped some pics today of work. I would have uploaded them earlier, but something’s wonky with our network setup.
Well. It’s our first day in the city today. We’re in Capital Centre, on Pitt St. The building is very swanky. The four hours of sleep that I got last night rather sucked, though.
Weekend was fun… on Friday night we hung out at a friend-of-a-friend’s place, who had pet snakes. A big-arse diamond python and a children’s python. She had another diamond python as well, but it wasn’t domesticated yet.
I didn’t get any pics of the diamond python.
On Saturday I went to the Gaelic Club, for a big metal festival thingy, which rocked.
\m/
Mmm, payrise.
😀
We’ve got our work Christmas party tonight at the Opera House, then I’ve got a six-day weekend. 😀 (My week next week consists of Friday and Saturday).
My Veronica Mars DVDs will be arriving early next week, so I’ll have to make a special trip into work to pick them up. 🙂
Whee. The phone lines into our main 133-622 number are down. If you call it you get that “The lines in the area you have dialed are busy” message.
Now, if it can just last another two and a quarter hours… 😉
EDIT: Aw, they’re back up. 🙁 And the big-arse thunderstorm that’s brewing looks like it’s going to miss us. 🙁
There’s so much random Apple-branded stuff. A fellow came down yesterday with a Apple-branded umbrella, and there were a bunch of these sitting on the freebies table today:
Mmmmmmm.
(Mine’s the one with the PowerBook on it… the other is a co-worker’s machine, who isn’t in today so I’m commandeering her monitor :D).
One of the guys here at work has been away for the past three weeks (he’s back on Monday). So we decided to have a bit of fun.
