Well, I’ve unplugged my stereo and put it under the house.

After listening to music through my laptop’s speakers for a week, when I get the new stereo on Friday it’s going to sound brilliant. 😉

Over the past year and a half, my stereo has developed an odd problem: it won’t output any sound if the weather gets hot. The sound level meters on the front are moving, but nothing comes out of the speakers. Well, it’s now completely died, so I’m investing in a new setup.

On my Dad’s recommendation, I’m not going to get one of those all-in-one mini-system thinks, because they’re, well…crap, heh. Not to mention that even though my stereo has a CD player, radio, and twin tape deck, I never use them. All I use it for is the auxilliary input so I can route the sounds from my computer, Xbox, and GameCube through it.

So, I’ve ordered a Harman-Kardon HK670 amplifier and a set of Wharfedale D82 bookshelf speakers.

They’re meant arrive Wednesday or Thursday next week, and Dad said he’ll go down and pick them up on Friday. w00t!

Holy shit, I just won an iMac G5.

We had a random draw, with things like t-shirts, iTunes gift certificates, an iSight, and AirPort Express Base Stations. There was also an iMac G5, which I won. 😀 😀

MOTHERFUCKING WORD.

Just got back from seeing Chimaira and In Flames.

First off was some local band whose name I didn’t catch…they were quite good. Next was Chimaira, who FUCKING OWNED. They were even better than In Flames, IMHO.

I was right up the very front until about half-way through In Flames’ set, when I decided a) it was too damn hot, and b) there were too many fucktards madly waving heads and arms around. 😉

Some dude came up to me and offered me $100 for my Dimmu Borgir “In Satan We Trust” jumper. 🙂 I politely declined (it’s one of my favourite tops ;)). And I bought two t-shirts, the tour ones for In Flames and Chimaira.

w00t! \m/
